Song of the Day – Tuesday 8/24/2010 Björk August 24, 2010

Björk has released the title song for the new Moomins (Finnish cartoon characters created by Tove Jansson described as “a family of trolls who are white and roundish, with large snouts that make them resemble hippopotamuses”) movie “Moomins and the Comet Chase.”

The song is available today on iTunes; all the funds generated by the track will be donated to UNICEF Pakistan childrens’ charities…hmmm, a little creepy/apocalyptic for a kid-flick but a good cause, so BUY IT…and who better than Björk to help make creepy, cool?!
